Exclamation text msg stuck in outbox?

so theres a text message I sent someone weeks ago still in my outbox... im unable to move or delete it from the outbox and whenever I restart my phone she receives another copy of the text..

can anyone thing of a way to fix this without hard resetting? rather not go through the hassle just to spare her the "I reset my phone" notifacation

its a regular sms and im running stock 2.17, no threaded sms or anything like that.

If your using 3rd party software delete it and see if that fixes it if not leave everything uninstalled and make a backup of contacts then take it to the Sprint store. They may need to replace it. If you don't uninstall Sprint will not do any service on the phone. I had this problem but I was using PoketCM and deleted from they're and was fine.

if you are using just the stock sms thing, just open up your inbox, goto menu > tools, clear "text messages" and see if that does anything for you. otherwise, you will most likely have to hard reset to get rid of it.

hard reset should definitely get rid of it. if THAT doesnt, then yes, you can probably get a new phone.
