Getting Contracts from Vista or .CSV file

Has anyone figured out a way to get the Window's Contacts to sync to the phone with or without WMDC? I haven't been able to find anyone saying they found a way to so I thought I'd put this question out there again. I was able to export my contacts from my old outlook into a .csv file and then import it into vista's contact software.

Is there anyway to get my contacts back on my phone? Either by syncing or placing my .csv file (or other format) in a folder in the phone? I'm desperately trying not to have to type 200 contacts back into my phone.

I'd try syncing it to my XP system with outlook, but my active sync isn't working anymore and when i trouble shoot it tells me something about ip address resolutions.

I'm taking allllll ideas and suggestions.

On the XP computer start, settings, connections, usb to pc, uncheck enable advanced network functionality. Plug in the device. It will install a HTC Serial USB driver. ActiveSync should initialize and complete.

Anyone have luck syncing without outlook and using the build in contact software with vista?

I also have my contacts stored as .csv, but I don't have any xp computers. Is there another way to do this on a linux machine? Ubuntu gutsy 7.10, xv6700 with wm6.

Unfortunately I know of none...but i'm no expert, hopefully someone can help you out.

I've since installed PPCPimBackup just so i dont have to go through this again since i have syncing problems with vista.
