Back up Palm SMS threaded messaging?

I used PIM Backup and Sprite backup but when I went to restore it using either one it didn't work.

Just wondering how I can get backup and restore the text messages correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

AVakil,
Simply find this file - PalmMsgV001 - then copy and paste it to/from your storage card. It's usually in \Windows but might be somewhere else depending on how you installed it.
I include the file in my weekly automatic PIM Backup runs.

Thanks so much for the help man! It worked like a charm. I used the Sprite Backup Windows Explorer to find the file and I dropped it in the phone's \Windows folder and it worked.

What other files would you suggest I backup?

Do you prefer Sprite over PIM Backup? I see some use PIM daily, while others use Sprite weekly, is there a reason for this?

Thanks again for the help.

I use PIM Backup only - and even that I only use for call history and text messages. All else is synced to PC's and server. Syncing and backups don't mix.
