activesync problem
 
ok, i had to do a hard reset on my phone. when i tried to sync my phone, the contacts didnt come over. i did a search and erased the mobile device under the activesync program. i also disabled the advance network functionality on the phone itself. all my contacts are in my outlook folder. what am i doing wrong?

Check the Device ID
 
I guess that when you made the hard reset (this sets the device to factory settings), you did not give the same device ID name to your mobil. Activesync expects to have the same device ID in order to restore the data to your mobil. If you gave another device ID, Activesync thinks it is a new device and there is no data in the back up to restore to the new device. Run Activesynk and make sure there is only one partnership. You can delete any unused partnership.
