Internet Sharing Problem

EDIT: Nevermind, last night i was trying to get the sharing ove wifi working and i guess it messes with some of the settings for this but i looked in that topic and it had a fix so it works now.


I used the Internet Sharing app on my Spring Mogul. The problem is when I connect it to my laptop through USB my laptop can't get a valid network address. I've got it automatically getting an IP address so i don't know why it can't.

I selected USB and Sprint PCS for the options in ICS app, should I have done something else? I'm not paying for phone as a modem.
