Exchanging Mogul for Touch, Custom rom

Hi all, im new here. I just got a Sprint Mogul about a week ago. I want to exchange it for a Touch. My question is, i have a custom rom on it, should i put the factory rom back on it, or just leave the custom rom on it. Another quick question, I got my Mogul from a local sprint store, if i go there and tell them i want the touch, will i have to pay for the touch and then wait for the mogul to be credited back to my credit card, I am still on the 30 day trial that sprint has, thank you for all your help

Jon,

ALWAYS return to stock ROM before returning your phone. It will void your warranty.

And from my experience on returning the phone you will only have to pay the difference between the two phones if you are within the 30 days. Most likely for you will will get a credit to your account of some type since the mogul costs more than the touch.

uh oh, i never backed up my rom when i installed the custom one. Is there a factory sprint rom out there that i could download and then install so i can return my phone to sprint???

yes sprint.com has a downloads section with factory roms for its phones.

Thanks for everybodys help, one last thing, can i exchange it in the store since i bought it at a sprint store, or do i have to do it through the mail, i hope i can exchange it instore, anybody know????

make sure to undo the SPL unlock too... there's a sticky for that at the top of the forum

thanx, i just downloaded the bootloader locker, did anyone happen to know about doing the instore exchange, or does it have to be done through the mail after calling sprint???

You should be able to do in store, I've done it in the past. If you're unsure just call the store before you go in.
