Need Help With Sync Problem With New Mogul

I lost my old Mogul, so sprint sent me a new one. Well i have all my contact and everything from the old device synced on my laptop. So there all stored in outlook.

Well now that i got this new Mogul, when i plug it in. It Sync's but wont retrieve the contacts, or appointment from outlook on to the new Mogul. I think this new Mogul has the new rom update. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. This phone came with Active Sync 4.5.

Any suggestion or tricks would be really helpful.

thanks

The Rom upgrade shouldnt have anything to do with it, cause I have synced my contacts to completly different windows mobile phones. I suggest you download activesync 4.5 on your laptop and try it again.

Make sure your device name on the unit matches whatever you named it in AS on the pc...

start > settings > about > device ID tab (change name here)
