Accidental deletion

Does anyone know how to retrieve pics that may have been accidentally erased? where does the deleted items go? Is there some sort of recycling bin?

if it was on an SD card you could try one of those restore apps that can pull deleted info. i have had some luck with them. some free for a few days just try not to use the card any more until you can pull the info off.
