Integrated Messaging by OZ - is there a version for 6800
http://www.oz.com/index.php/section/products-services/
The link above is the actual site. I saw my friend Cingular 8525 and she has a really cool instant messaging app better than the one from msn. Also the company that made the app offers a social networking that works with friendster, myspace, flickr, youtube and more. Does anyone ever encountered these apps before? Is there a possibility to get a copy from the actual cingular 8525. I don't want to ask my friend if I could play with her phone yet if i don't even know if its possible.

damn, i just looked up this md5 digest code 403 error, and idk if its the same, but from wat i read, it states that the server understood the request but refused to fufill it. if anyone can figure this out, this would probably be the best IM app out there for the mogul. the only thing about aim is that i think it makes the mobile device buddy list and only uses the 30 that you put in there and thats it. still would be a good app though, someone please try to figure this out. thanx

I checked out settings.cfg in Program Files\Instant Messaging\, and it seems there some values that pertain to an "CLIENTKEY". If we could figure out how this key is related to the device, and whether this is the culprit of the MD5 errors, we can make this IM work!
Edit: I've uploaded the folder for you guys to look at. Here are some keys worth checking out: Code:
AIMWIFIAUTH_CLIENTKEY:wv:WIN.OZ#6Tdd@HTC.VSeptember2007 MSNWIFIAUTH_CLIENTKEY:wv:WIN.OZ#6Tdd@HTC.VSeptember2007 YHOOWIFIAUTH_CLIENTKEY:wv:WIN.OZ#6Tdd@HTC.VSeptember2007 AOL_KEY_1:AOL Instant Messenger (SM) AOL_KEY_2:Pbs1oqsFBLU554XJd#opWo $$AOL_KEY_1:AOL Instant Messenger (SM) $$AOL_KEY_2:u8XJCb7ADzsJoWimb#8L67 $$AOL_KEY_1:AOL Instant Messenger (SM) $$AOL_KEY_2:MdEVBAD1MscBmN1Di#lCEb Last edited by leetsauce; 10-20-2007 at 09:32 PM. |

There is to be a multi IM client on the Touch/Vogue whenever it gets released I wonder if this is the same one, or one of that style, if it works on the vogue there isn't any reason that it won't work on the Mogul. Someone said they had it working on their 6700, I wonder what the difference could be?

After a bit fiddling with the keys in settings.cfg, it seems even if I comment out all the AOL_KEY values, I still get an MD5. Switching servers to the PPE settings (aim.imgateway.sprintpcs.oz-communications.com) rather than Production settings (aim.imgateway.sprintpcs.com) only gives me a "user does not exist" error. Those servers probably don't work no more.
How can we make this work on the Mogul?! |
