1800MAh standard size battery from mugenpower

was poking around for something to buy with a x-mas gift card and found this ... aparently a new product from Mugen Power ..

* HLI–P6800SL
* Standard Size Hi–Power 1800mAh Battery for HTC P6800 (Spring Mogul), UT * STarcom/Verizon XV6800, Sprint PPC 6800 PPCs.
* Li–Ion, 3.7V, 1800mAh
* Colour: Black
* (Made by Mugen Power)
* FREE WORLD–WIDE SHIPPING
* 34.40 EU / 49.88 USD

this is standard size .. meaning the device doesnt get any bigger and you dont need a new battery door ... even for $50 thats awesome in my book ... no more carrying around a spare battery just to listen to music all day ...

as far as i know the only standard size extended available for 6800 so far was 1400MAh and this is a pretty big jump from it ... i usually get around 8 hours of light use and music play with A2DP and the screen turned off from the stock 1100MAh so im pretty excited about this little sucker .... mine is already ordered ...

anyway ... searched forum and didnt see any mention of it so here it is ...

this battery is good but gets VERY VERY VERY hot after 5-6 hours of use. (like so hot it hurts my leg if my phone is in my pocket, even with the back cover on the phone) never stopped working tho as a battery, my friends does the same things as mine too

good thing i dont keep mine in my pocket XD ...

when you say "5-6 hours of use" do you mean its just powered on or you are actually doing something with it and the screen/backlight are on ...

The stock battery on the Mogul is 1500mAh. Seidio has an OEM sized 1650mAh.

strange ... mine is only 1100mAh and most of the replacement batteries i have found available online are either 1100mAh or 1350mAh ... maybe mine isnt stock for some reason ..

EDIT: could someone post a picture of the stock 1500mAh Mogul battery

Lion is not the same as LiPo Lithium ion polymer. Lion is old skool compared to a liPo

Exactly the same size as the stock battery, like as in right down to the fraction of a millimeter? I highly doubt it. I'm guessing it will cause a bulge in the battery door or be a really tight fit.
