Okay, My Mogul Seems To Be REALLY MESSED UP!
This morning my Mogul froze (as always) and so I did a soft-reset. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I performed the reset, it would just freeze at the Today Screen without loading any of the plug-ins. Finally, I decided to do a hard-reset. I did my hard reset, then threw on my programs (- the ones I recently put on) and everything was fine. After all this (1 1/2 hrs) I had everything the way I wanted it except for the HTC Kaiser homeplug... So, I messed with the appearance. Normally, it takes a few seconds, then pops up and all is well... Not this time. It just started freezing at the Today Screen again.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?! Programs -HTC Home Plug-In -HHC Customizer -SPB Diary -SPB Insight -HTC Audio Manager -Skunkworks FlashVideoBundle -TCPMP -iLauncher -Pocket Mechanic Pro -Total Commander -WeatherPanel -Live Search -ClearTemp -PPC PIMBackup -Touche'

I would say it's not:
-Skunkworks FlashVideoBundle -TCPMP -Total Commander -WeatherPanel -Live Search -ClearTemp -PPC PIMBackup -Pocket Mechanic Pro - unless you really tweaked something out and hadn't reset yet then maybee I have no experience with: -SPB Diary -SPB Insight -iLauncher It could be: -HTC Home Plug-In -HHC Customizer -Touche' -HTC Audio Manager - but I doubt it

the problem is hhc customizer and htc home...if u do ur own city in hhc than it will freeze on startup...happened to me alot.luckilly i have a safemode program installed on my mogul so i could unistall it....otherwise only way to not have it freeze is hard reset.

SPB Pocket Plus 4.0 has safemode built in. Thats what I use and it works very well. It disables any auto-start programs on startup so that you can access your device if it has a software conflict.

Hey... I really appreciate the replies. I did just notice something, though... My Mogul isn't freezing, but it is taking about 10-15 minutes for my today screen to fully load. Also, the phone IS freezing anytime that I make ANY changes on the Today Screen.
Ex.) If I click on 'Owner Information' to show up, when I tap 'Ok', it completely freezes. Do you still think that it's the HTC and HHC? Oh, and I didn't have to put my own city in the homeplug.. -Touche' Last edited by Touche'; 12-21-2007 at 08:51 PM.
