If you wanna help, you can...

I have seen this some where in the thread, but the search options are real confusing, so i thought i'd just ask everybody...

does anybody, and i mean ANYBODY know how the prevent the -MESSAGE SENT- notification that comes up after you have sent out a text message...

it comes on every text message, and it gets annoyin extra fast...

another thing... does anybody know how to modify the different tones? i want my ringer to be as loud as it can, but i want my text message alert to be a little quieter...

I know you only have 3 posts out there so I'm not gonna slam you
In the read this before posting sticky in the HTC TITAN forum there is alot of useful info that is in one place. The registry hacks are where you would like to be. Here is a direct link to those http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=5108 another option that is available is the threaded sms option which auto takes care of that as well as stores the full convo with that person.
As far as different volumes I personally have not seen anything.. but it doesen't mean its not out there

There may be some 3rd party software like Phone Alarm to control the ringer/notification volume for certain events, but I am not sure. Another option is to just choose a text message notification sound that was recorded at a lower volume.

Regarding the threaded sms jlaudio mentioned, please do not ask for it here in the forums or via PM as its not allowed due to legal issues with Palm. You can google it if you are interested and should find something.

Send a message via AIM to blazin-asian
i personally use 6800 Hack to manage my registry hacks, which can be found here:

note that if you turn flashing LED off, it will also disable your vibrate feature. that bugged me for a while
