Can I flash stock Sprint 2.17 to VZW's Titan?

Would be possible to flash stock Sprint 2.17 ROM to VZW XV6800 without cause VZW network issue? I no want to cause "roam" to Sprint network issue for my phone so...

Anyway, if so, how to set data connection, phone settings, etc.?

Need to manually modify advance program menu or can *228 work fix all setting?

You could but somethings probably wouldn't work like MMS, etc. Why not use a custom ROM that is setup for VZW?

Also, I asked this in another thread you had about your handwriting recognition problem but I will ask here also. Are you using FTouchFlo in the ROMs? It hasa prblem with Transcriber and could be causing your problems with your program.

No, I was use only dcd at xda dev's custom ROM VZW 2.17,,
and it's clean ROM... no extra for anything at all,,
but, the TEGAKI input only not work in IME31JQVGAF.
IME31J have many options to input, TEGAKI is JP handwrite
recognize. If anyone can help me get this work to VZW ROM
@2.17 WM6... I will be so grateful.

I flash dcd VZW 2.17... its good ROM,, but little trouble with my SIP
so I need run unstable 2.09 (((> <)))

Instruction say please install LetsJapan, make do soft reset,,
afterward install ime31j, make soft reset.

Then you will see.. no can work -> TEGAKI.
Some ROM is ok... 2.09 VZW stock is ok TEGAKI, but no dcd VZW 2.17
So... I'm sad.

You should try dcd 1.6.7 located here..

It's designed for Sprint, so you will have to change MMS settings. But other than that it works great, and the SIP issue has been fixed in that release. It may solve your problem.

Can you please make me VZW "EVDO & MMS" setting list?

Go into pics/vid from messaging, hit Menu and Pics/vid settings, server tab. Change the server to these values:

Server name: Verizon Wireless
Gateway: LEAVE BLANK
Port: 80
Server address: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
connect via: the internet
Sending limit: 248k (or whatever is highest)
WAP: WAP 2.0

And MMS should work. EVDO doesn't need any setup, I don't think.

And you sure that VZW won't detect Sprint ROM and make charge me extra "roaming" ?

VZW won't have any idea what ROM you have on your device.

No. I've been using it since it came out. Just do a *228 option 1 after you flash, and it should work fine. Do a *228 option 2 to update your PRL afterwards if it makes you feel better =).

OK. I flash dcd 1.6.7 and now I make ALLTEL network @ dial *228. ((>_<))
