PPCGeeks - HTC PPC Freezing at boot

I have one HTC 6800 that freezes on boot-up. While attempting to remove a screen protector that I had no idea was not on the phone, I noticed the phone booted up. Then subsequently each time the phone starts to freeze up, I hang the phone from a piece of tape pulling on the center of the screen (outward pressure) and the phone boots.

Has anyone seen this issue, or can anyone else confirm this to be the case with there phone that freezes?
