Recording video on my Mogul: How to make it work on the PC?

So I recorded some video on my Sprint Mogul and it plays back just fine on Windows Media Player on my Mogul. Thing is, when I try to play the same files on my PC, it gives me an error message. It has the videos saved as .MP4 files and they won't playback on Windows Media Player on the PC or on Quicktime on the PC.

Anyone care to let me know how to make it so my video will playback on the PC?

You might not have the right codec installed. If you google for klm codec pack (k-lite mega codec pack), it installs a ton of commonly used codecs for video playback, and also installs a great video player (media player classic). I know for sure that if you install klm codec pack that you can play mp4's with media player classic, and probably with windows media player as well.

all of that stuff only applies only if the problem is the video format. It might be something wrong with your mogul though, in which case the klm codec pack wouldnt do anything.

This is a great codec package with just about everything you need. Perfect for WMP10 or WMP11.

It may not auto recognize the file extension as playable, but once installed it should play it if you tell it to use WMP as the default player.
