Playing .wav files

This is odd - I open up an email message on my Mogul and there is a smallish .wav file. It's actually a voicemail message from my office (it redirects to email so I can get it anywhere easier).

I click on it and MediaPlayer starts up, but then gives me an error message saying it can't open .wav files.

WTH? ](*,)

Is there a codec for Media Player? Or is there simply a different player I should install?

You could try tcpmp. Not sure if that will play your wav file or not - it should unless the wav file is corrupt. I don't have that installed on my Touch, but it worked great on my Mogul when I had it.
