Have I really "bricked" my phone?

Okay so I have read through a few threads that were similar to my problem and no solution was found.

I was following the steps on this forum:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=33857

I had successfully unlocked my phone. I then moved on to the step where you screw with the GPS. I felt that i did it correctly, but then my phone froze up at the verizon splash screen. It will display the specs then just stay on the verizon screen.

I can also access the bootloader screen.

All I want to do is reset my phone back to the original setting with the factory verizon ROM. Please help!

OK, you're going to lose your data, but at least the phone will work. With the phone on, hold down the two buttons with the dots AND push the soft reset button on the bottom. Hold all three until a gray box pops up and follow the screen prompts.

Ya I have done the hard reset a few times already. It will go through the process, but when it reboots it displays the settings then freezes on the verizon flash screen.

Phone is NOT bricked.
Maybe posting the steps you took to get you to where you are would help.
Generally stuck on that splash is after flashing a gps rom with a non gps radio.
You need to post your spl, radio, and rom versions that you are using.
You might only need to flash a gps radio to get it to boot.

Re: Have I really "bricked" my phone?

Okay

1) The first thing I did once I got the phone was try to hook it up to activesync, after using multiple chords and computers I opted to unlock the phone with nuespl 2.47 from the 512mb stick I have.

2) Finished the unlocking process, it was pretty easy.

3) I then moved on to this part of the tutorial: "Now that you have the phone unlocked you will need to put a new GPS enabled Radio on the device."

4) I then preceded to "You can download the latest Radio (3.42.30) ( Here is 3.42.40)" So I popped the img onto my sd card.

5) I ran through the setup, my phone then restarted and has been stuck at the verizon spash screen since then.

and you have verified those were succesful?
Place phone in bootloader and make sure 2.47
also when you soft reset phone, look at bottom and read the number next to R

if you have a that radio you mention and have the 2.47 spl, then try flashing a rom, there are a few in the upgrade section.

Re: Have I really "bricked" my phone?

bootloader says:

TITA100
SPL-2.47No2Chem Titan SPL EVT
CPLD-9

And the R says:

3.42.40

Re: Have I really "bricked" my phone?

how exactly do I flash?

I loaded:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=70427
onto my sd card.

I tried to hold power reset camera to get it to run but the grey loading screen flashes then goes right back to the 3 color screen.

Re: Have I really "bricked" my phone?

It is no different flashing a rom than flashing a radio.
file goes on root of sd with name of TITAIMG.nbh
there should be no other .nbh file on card.

you flashed the radio, so you should be able to flash rom.

If you don't know how, make sure there is NO .nbh on sd card and then on that link you provided, grab the RUU folder he provided, place the .nbh in it, put phone in bootloader, hook up usb, run romupdate utillity.
