I can't speak for others, but personally I have all of my apps installed to my device memory. I have pretty much any app I could ever want installed, and I still have over 100megs left on the device. This way, I have that much more space on my card for media, and I can swap the card out for another without effecting my application availability.

This phone has plenty of application storage. I install ALL software to the device. I keep .cab copies of all my programs on my SD card. That way if I have to format while I am out, I can be up and running with 10 minutes. Especially since I sync using exchange.

For those who dont know, If you have the .exe file of an application stored on your SD card and you remove the card, your application on your device will be rindered useless until you re-insert the card to the device since the application or .ink shortcut is linked to your card.
Just as ls3mach, I too save copies of my .cab files to my SD card for easy re-installation... just in case. For me, full apps are installed on phone, the .cab's on SD. |

I store the installers on my storage card, but most programs should be installed to the device.
