Bluetooth low call volume
Ever since I got my phone I've been keeping my eye out for a solution for this. I'm using the Jabra BT320s and the volume works and sounds great when I listen to music. Try and have a conversation with it and it sounds about 50% in comparison to the music. I can barely hear the person on the other end.
Does anyone have some insight on this? Thanks, TOG:scratch: |
I went ahead and did a hard reset on my phone this morning with the 2.17 release and as soon as the Sprint Customizations screen came up, I soft rebooted the device with the stylus. I have noticed that the calls are MUCH louder on my Jabra 8010. Give that a try and see if it works. Back up your info before you do this as it will wipe the device.

Thanks for the response. I'm with Telus so I guess I don't get that 2.17 ROM. I spent a lot of time trying to find a posting similar to this issue and I couldn't find very much and solutions I've tried had no effect.
I don't know why I didn't do this before but I decided to call HTC. He told me that it's a known issue and that in-call volume can be 30-50% less. It will be in Telus' next ROM update coming in early 2008. So I guess I'll have to wait till next year. |
