Upgraded to mogul cant play sprint music

I upgraded my samsung a900 to the mogul and when i download all my music from the sprint music store the songs will not play. They download just fine and all but it gives an error and will not play.

Any idea what i need to do?

hey johnny, how did you do that, did you have to go to sprint store or they did it over the phone, or it is something I can do myself?!
thanks in advance

Well, after the 2.17 was officially released, the music played fine with the new rom. Prior to the official release, the new rom from htc had the new player and would not play any of my music i got from sprint.

oah, ok, I do have the 2.17 but still have some problems, most of the time it does not play music even the mp3s uploaded from my computer, I think I'll wait then, till the new upgrade with the GPS and Rev A.

Thanks anyways

you have to use windows media player for songs you put on it and groove music player for the songs you dl from sprint to you phone and paid for. Thats the only way i got it working

yea, that's what I 'm doing right now, but sometimes .... no most of the times I can't play the music from Sprint.

Does tunebite or anything like that work with sprint music files?

My advice is to never buy music in weird BS proprietary DRM formats. All it means is that you are going to be stuck playing it on one device. The idea of DRM is to keep you from playing it on any other device so you have to buy a new copy for each device.

If possible, use Tunebite or a similar program to convert to a regular MP3 and cut your losses.

itunes needs a wm6 version. that would make me quite happy but i doubt it will ever happen.
