question about backup

i used spb backup and made a full backup of my mogul. i have a mogul flashed to cricket and recently my phone and 3 others i flashed have lost the mms settings. in the mms servers section the information disappeared. and if i re enter the info when i press ok it gets erased again and theres nothing there. i hard reset one of the moguls and the server came back but ive done lots of things to my phone and dont wanna lose it all after a hard reset. so i want to know when i put the backup back on my phone how do i just make the mms settings section go back to default but keep the rest of the settings i have. is there a way to do this?
