I Have A 6800 With 2.09 Rom And 1.32 Raido Was Wanting To Know How To Up Grade To 1.40 Raido Can Some One Point Me In The Right Directon So I Dont Brick My Phone

You need the following:
ftp://ftp.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/jtrag/140_radio.rar

This has the RUU and the 1.40 Radio ROM. You need to have your phone connected via ActiveSync (not necessary partnered). Then just run the update utility and that's about all. It'll hard reset your phone so you might wanna back everything up that you need.

just wondering is that radio any better then the one that comes with it and it says i have to login i have never loged on to ftp where do i sign up

I too have the 2.09 Rom with 1.32 Raido, but when I try this upgrade to 1.40 Radio I keep getting an error... any ideas??

I'd like to know if its worth getting as well, is signal strength, voice quality or BT audio better?

No matter what I try I still get an error when trying to upgrade from 1.32 to 1.40.

"ERROR [262]: UPDATE ERROR
The ROM Update Utility has encountered communication errors during the update process. The program will guide you step-by-step to recover from the errors so you can continue with the update."

I've tried countless times, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

does it improve anything on my phone that the 1.32 does not also i just downloaded the file and found out i already have that file but i dont know how ti install it i click on it and my resco explorer brings up the file then i click on the file andit brings up other subfiles like enterbootloaded mode and 11 other flies

you dont download it to your phone, you download it to your computer and run the RUU.exe from your computer not the phone. but make sure your phone is connected via usb and activesync has recognized it. also i would suggest not doing anything on your computer while its updating.
