Change system boot screen

I was wondering if there is a way to change the system boot screen. The very first one that says Sprint and has the Rom/radio version info and everything. I know there was one for the apache, I tried it and it doesnt work on the mogul.

Ok I think this will do it for you.

1. copy own picture in gif format with name carrierlogo to \\windows directory
2. soft reset

No no, not the animated one. I'm speaking of the VERY FIRST ONE. that has the red text at the bottom.
