NVM Folder locked

I am having trouble getting the access to the nvm folder to write to phone. I got my cid set to all zeros. Used supercid method

Would running WM6.5 make any difference? Using radio rom 3.42.50?

qpst efs explorer- the nvm folder has a red cross through it.
qxdm gives me errors about nvm folder being read only.

Am I going to need to reflash with something else to make this work?

I have seen other things like the "open sesame door" but it does not seem to work.

Most other tutorials are several years old and do not seem to work.

Any help would be very appreciated

Re: NVM Folder locked

This is probably involving illegal activities and can't be talked about here. But perhaps you should look at http://www.mobile-files.com

Re: NVM Folder locked

I'm curious as to why you want to gain access to the NVM as well. If you are flashing to a new carrier then it is not needed, there are way around it.
