Do you have any kind of insurance program where you can exchange the device for a small fee? (like sprints $50 for example)

I ask because if not you are pretty much SOL on that one. Quest technicians will be able to see the water damage stickers in the phone. Also, You will not want to attempt to BS yourself a new device that way, you could be arrested for fraud.

you def might be sol unfortunately..the stickers on the inside of the phone turn pink/purple if there extensive water damage. thats not covered under equiptment protection...
you could always bs your way through it and get yourself a new mogul by paying the deductible..they send you the phone first anyways then you ship your back....but when they find out about the water damage it could be more trouble then its worth.

I have the insurance, and they're going to send me another for $50.. I guess it wouldnt really be imparitive, since I already voided the warranty? I just thought I should put the original rom back on there.

I had that happen with my 6700 too, they wouldnt replace my card, but if you have handset insurance, through qwest its $5 a month, than they'll replace it with a new one (refurbed) for $50... which is still cheaper than a 4 gig sd card... unless you got a deal.. but yeah, I think you have to have it for at least like 3 months before you can cash in on it.
