BT on WM OS question

My Mogul's BT volume is low (post registry hax/ Altell ROM), nothing new I guess. Googling didnt help me so heres my question:

Can low volume be an effect of the WM OS? Reason I ask is my friend purchased a tilt and returned it. He mentioned the volume sucked unlike his treo which he had to turn down because it was too loud.

BT is a big must for me, I've never had low volume issues with my non PDA phones. So I'm looking for some feedback to determine if I'm on the wrong platform for BT.

I'm getting a Touch sent to me as a replacement, I hope this issue is phone specific and not OS.

The Mogul has many well-documented issues with Bluetooth. Check the "Read This First" thread at the top of this Forum for a little more in-depth answer to your question.

Probably don't want a Mogul then, better check out the Touch.

Thanks for replying. I know the issues with the mogul and the tweaks/ROMs that somewhat help. A ton of info on connectivity and choppiness issues, mine are just volume issues.
But my question is geared more towards the OS, tis why I added the same issue with the Tilt my friend had. If this is the wrong forum for my question then I apologize.

So for you experienced multi-platform users is this something that has just followed the Mogul or is it WM OS common issue?
thx in advance
