Activating Sprint Mogul in Mexico

Hello I bought a Mogul in USA, and bring it to Mexico. My local carrier already add the ESN to my local network, assign a number and give me the MIN number.

I used ##778# and SPC code to program my phone.

I can make calls, send SMS messages and access to Internet (my plan includes data access)

The only thing that is not working is that the phone is always in "Digital Roaming" mode, it can't found the local carrier.

I edit the Home SID/NID with my carrier values, and also modify the NAM Name, but still in roaming:

Do you know if I'm missing some to configure in the Mogul?

Wow, I'm surprised you even got it to go this far! What carrier did you buy it from here? Obviously not Sprint!

I bought from Sprint, I activate it in Mexico with Iusacell

lol yea def not sprint...better be careful on the calls and such if your roaming....if not you might have a nice surprise when the invoice is made =)

hmm thats weird...you just bought the mogul outright from sprint with no contract..then your carrier activated it? ive never heard of that carrier anyways lol so im no help...i just smoked sorry guys

i bought my mogul on ebay... no cotract . no sprint store.. even tho i have a contract with sprint .. u can still buy it n call to activate n datz it

people do it all the time so it can be done but I dont know how. In Guatemala they used to do it for you but they stopped because they are trying to go to gsm (or sprint bitched)

Hello, now I'm happy, I have the right PRL file from my local carrier, now shows "Iusacell" instead of "Digital Roaming"

Now I'm planning to cook a ROM for my "paisanos" (there are a lot of people in Mexico buying the Sprint Mogul)

It's good idea to base my ROM in the No2Chem's "basekit 3593.rar"?

Hola Rafael, i use this PRL R3E252r2, in my apache and still have sprint, but i don have the Roaming and i can use all the service could you tell me your PRL please.
