I didn't change any settings, I used it as it installed. This is how I transfered them:
Set the D3 to 'Phonebook Transfer.' Open JetWare: Menu > Phonebook Options > Select categories to transfer > Menu > Send Contacts > Done It will come up with a screen that says 'Send ## contacts to Pioneer BT Unit 2' (or something to that effect). Click ok and it should start to send them. Edit: The only setting that I changed was in the Advanced Menu. I checked the ringtones option at the bottom to allow my custom ringtones to play through the D3. Last edited by Ri22o; 11-17-2007 at 12:17 AM. |

I'd like to hear from AVIC-D3 owners that have 6800s. I want to know one thing: does it auto-connect to your 6800 when you start your car? As you can see from one of my previous posts, I had a Pioneer 9800BT and despite advertising that ability, it never auto-connected. Please let me know if your AVIC-D3 does. I have one in the mail and I'd like to know what to expect. Thanks.

Yes, I have been able to get all of the features to work. It auto-connects, shows signal and battery status, transfers the phone book, voice dialing, etc. I just wish the people at Pioneer were smarter and actually made the radio more ergonomically. |

Thanks. I pulled the trigger and got one of my own, and like you said, it works well. I have no idea why the Pioneer 9800BT didn't work for crap but the AVIC-D3 bluetooth works fine. So, while it's way more expensive, at least it works.
