google maps + gps not updating location

I have been running google maps with my bt gps for a while now, but one thing I have noticed is that it completely refuses (99% of the time) to update the location from the gps without me manually turning 'track location' off and back on...

This worked for me one time when I first got the gps, I was driving home and watched the blue dot move almost the entire way but then it stopped near the end... I figured this was because I zoomed in too far (?) but I have tried to get it to do live tracking again and have been completely unable to replicate this, trying to zoom out/etc....

Am I missing something here? Is there a setting or a workaround to get it to actually follow me? It's very annoying to have to disable and reenable it every time I want to see my new location....

yeah this happened to me to and i just gave up... iNav is a great program for mapping and they just came out with version 4

You guy should give Live Search Mobile a try. I experience it better than google

I have had this problem when using a Blackberry Pearl, but never with a WM device. Have you uninstalled/reinstalled or made sure you have the most current version?

I Just got my 6800 and have the hardest time getting the program to detect my position also with a BT GPS...... Does this have anything to do with the BT issue with this phone?
