Jabra 8010 - Help

I've hear a few good things about this bluetooth set and the mogul. I've installed Colonels Oct 21 rom. Here is my problem: I can hear everything (sounds, music etc...) but I can't hear the phone "ring" when I call out and I can't hear anybody on the other end!!!

Any help would be appreciated!

Make sure that you have both headset and wireless stereo selected under the bluetooth menu.

Yup, they are both selected. I hate this phone!!!

My BT8010 actually works perfectly with my Mogul - much better than it did with my Treo.

Have you tried turning the headset off and on again. This happened me on my XV6700 and I went through disabling bluetooth, unchecking and rechecking the setting options and even rebooting my phone, but turning off the headset worked.

I would just reset the headset and re-pair it. Also, there's a new firmware version (1.40) that has been posted within the last couple weeks so try installing that as well.

I appreciate the help, and I tried it all but nothing works. It makes no sense to me. I can hear everything but the phone ringing out and anything on the other end. I think it's time to lose sprint once and for all...

That's not a Sprint thing. Maybe your phone is going into music mode rather than headset mode. Also, try another headset and see if that works. This has nothing to do with your service.

I have the 8010 and it works perfectly fine with this phone. The only thing that I don't like that differs from my Moto Q is that it keeps the stero audio activated at all times. I only want stereo audio while listening to music... Oh well. My Samsung SCH-i760 did the same thing.

No, I meant I'm tired of sprint because of my phone. I know sprint has nothing to do with my BT headset, but it has EVERYTHING to do with my POS mogul.

I also have tried a Motorola 850, and it was much worse. I couldn't get anything out of that!

Shouldn't there be an option of being able to choose the com port? Since I upgraded to Colonels custom rom, it's not there anymore.
