Angry Power button broke

The power button on my mogal broke. I am unable to power it off, and wake it up. I think the actual button on the board is broken. My contract was with Alltel, and then Verizon bought my contract. Verizon will not warranty it, because it is not their phone. They want me to purchase another phone with a contract. I am going with Sprint when my contract is up. I do not want to pay for aebutton, and it ends up not working. Is their another piece of software that I can get that will remap a button?

Re: Power button broke

You need to repair button or just exchange it through verizon for free if you have insurance. I don't think the power button can be remapped

Re: Power button broke

Verizon will not replace it evin though I do have insurance. They say it is because it is an Alltel phone

Re: Power button broke

You need to go up higher in the chain of command. Go to the highest level customer service you can get and calmly explain your situation. You ARE paying for insurance and you should get the warrenty claim approved!
