How to turn off confirmations on Voice Command 1.6?

I've got Microsoft Voice Command 1.60.4622.0 installed on my Mogul and want to use it with my Bluetooth headset. As others have reported, it can't hear or understand my response when it asks for confirmation of a requested number. That means I need to turn off confirmations. My problem is that I can't figure out how to do this. Under Settings the initial Voice Command screen shows check boxes for "Enabled" and "Password Protected" a list of items with checkboxes that says that "Checked items are voice enabled" and buttons for "Options" and "Notifications". The only option under "Options" is "Announce calendar reminders" and the choices under "Notifications" are to do with announcing via BT, speaker, and only during free time or not.

Where can I turn off confirmations?

Red face Turn off confirmations

Start>Settings>[Personal TAB] Voice command.
Highlight Phone with your stylus
Press the [Options] button
Uncheck the box(es) where you want to disable confirmation.

Hope that helps.

It there a workaround for this? what is the deal with Microsoft lately? My Vista is a very problematic machine, none of my PPC phones has ever really been stable. I guess the get it out the door and patch it later motto is what we can expect from them from now on..

Exclamation Hey now.

This is a known issue with VC 1.6 and WM6 from what I understand. I have never seen anthing that claims that VC 1.6 is compatible with WM6. In fact I seem to remeber that VC 1.5 won't even run on WM6. You could try being satisfied that it runs at all until a new version is released.

As an alternative you can flash your phone back to a stable WM5 until the problems you find unacceptable are fixed.

From Microsoft.com/mobile:

What's New with Voice Command 1.6
Voice Command for Windows Mobile 5.0 is designed to make your mobile experience awesome! Take a tour and find out more.

Also, please try and stay on topic.

Thanks.
