view security camera on 6800 that sends mpeg

I purchased a Panasonic Security camera system BL-WV10 and is working with my wireless router. I can view all three cameras (BL-C30) from my PC but when I try to view them with my PPC 6800 using ORB I get unsuitable codec installed on PC to stream. I did download from ORB the codec but still not working. I think the problem is that the cameras can't stream if it's mpeg.

I also tried Internet Explorer typing my ip address for one of the cameras and all I can view is just a picture about every 45sec only if I refresh the page.

Is there someone that's knows how I can view this on my PPC, so if I type in the cameras address it will open some mpeg player so it works like on my home PC.

Any help on the best way to do this would be great...

Thanks.. Dave

andason... I installed z2 and can connect ok to my home pc but the view with the camera is blank when viewing from my ppc. I tried this two different ways, 1 with my tv tuner card using video out, and 2, using a program called MediaOne. I can view the cam on my home pc but like I said when view with the ppc it's a black screen.

Did you have this problem...

Thanks

no.. but i did have that problem viewing video players.. (movies, etc) I guess I should have paid more attention the your statement about mpeg. I actually used mine when watching my web camera output to a software called crime catcher. what kind of camera / security software r u using? is it possible to adjust the frames per second?

To resolve this issue once and for all i think you should take a look at Sling Media that is the most piece of mind that we have had while on vacations regarding Home Security Surveilance, besides you can watch your own damn Cable or Satellite T.V. with it WTH...lol I mean you already have your Security Camera connected with your router, all you have to do is get a sling box and sling the content of your camera onto the web which can be veiwed on your cell anywhere globally.
