Unbrick Mogul on Mac?

I have an old Mogul that I am afraid is bricked and I have some idea of how to unbrick it (see below), but when I tried previously, activesync would not recognize the device at all. I've since gotten rid of all my PCs and now only have a Macbook Pro and I have no idea if I can attempt to unbrick it using my mac. I cannot even get to the tricolor screen now and I don't know who to call or what to do. Please help!

P.S. If anyone wants the phone, I will be happy to sell it to you. Then, you can fix it and do whatever with it.

Below are the instructions I obtained, but can you do this on a Mac?

1. First download Hetal's Unlocker "Cracking-6800.rar" and Sprint Leaked ROM 3.49 "T3.49.rar" (from where?)

2. Extract unlocker and Navigate to "Cracking-6800\6800\Olipro-HardSPL-2.4\" folder

3. Within the folder you will find the following file called Hard_MFG_SPL_2.40_RUU_signed.nbh and rename it to TITAIMG.nbh

4. Copy the file to a fat32 memory card, and insert it back into your phone.

5. Remove battery from you phone and wait 1 minute.

6. Replace battery, Press and hold camera button and Press power Button to go into bootloader mode.

7. The phone should display Loading... let it sit there till it completes 100%. It will not go past this screen, now reboot the phone. (This is where I got stuck, it would not go to 100%)

8. Remove battery from you phone and wait 1 minute.

9. Remove memory card Format with FAT 32.

10. Extract Sprint Leaked ROM 3.49 you will find the following file called "RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.49.651.0_RS_TITAN_3.39.10_ SPCS_2.00_AM_PPST_Test.exe"

11. Extract "RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.49.651.0_RS_TITAN_3.39.10_ SPCS_2.00_AM_PPST_Test.exe" with winRAR and Navigate to Extracted folder

12. Within the folder you will find the following file called RUU_signed.nbh and rename it to TITAIMG.nbh

13. Copy the file to a fat32 memory card, and insert it back into your phone.

14. Replace battery, Press and hold camera button and Press power Button to go into bootloader mode.

7. The phone should display Loading... let it sit there Till it completes 100%. Sprint Leaked ROM 3.49 is installed, now reboot the phone.

Your Phone is UnBricked and should start successfully. (Um... no it didn't)

you did not mention the size sd card you are trying to use. for flashing the sd card must be 1gb or smaller. also some sd cards just don't work for some reason. i use the oem 512md sandisk card without any problems. also, i have found neuspl2.47 less problematic than olipro2.4.

does the phone boot at all?

I used olipro 2.4... where can I get a free download of neuspl 2.47? I would like to try that.

I am not able to boot the phone at all at this point. I am trying to maybe charge the battery more to see if that is the problem (make sure its over 50%).

I also have a problem with the connection between the battery and the phone. The contacts may be shot. In that case, I will have to just sell it for parts. Hopefully, I will get it to boot for long enough to flash the new ROM/Radio and get it functional again and if the contacts continue to give me a problem, address that later.

Again, thank you for attempting to help me. I am a bit of a n00bie. What I believe caused this problem was that I hacked the phone to turn on the GPS, which was functional for about a month before it stopped working and would turn on to a message that said "Radio". Then, obviously I tried to flash the proper radio/ROM with no luck and here I am.

there should be a link to the 2.47 unlocker somewhere in the upgrades forum stickies. sounds like you have an incompitability with the rom, bootloader, and radio.

edit: if the phone isn't booting, neuspl2.47 will not help. it is an app that places the TITAIMG.nbh file on the sd card.
