need to send phone back to insurance
 

My phone is at 6.5 and it is busted and does not power on at all. I cant take off all the stuff I have on there and put it back to default. How can I break it so they cant check the software when I send it back to insurance? Thanks.

Run Over it with your car and make sure you destroy the ROM chip!!

Insurance claims don't matter. Only warranty claims matter. And sense you can't turn it on, I can't imagine they will be able to either.

Yup, Just tell the insurance you lost your phone...Same deductible as breaking it, plus you can ebay your old phone for parts or just keep it for spare parts.
