After New ROM Update - Battery Life

I'm not sure what it fixed...but before my battery was draining down to about 15-20% every day. I would hardly spend any time talking on it, just texting. No internet usage and I have a strong EV signal where ever I go.

I updated the ROM earlier this week and my battery is averaging 80-90% at the end of the day.

Again...not sure what it fixed...but I feel as though I have a whole new phone !

Just wanted to share in case anyone else was having this issue...

Mine's been better too. Before the update I also had the Power registry hacks, after the update I didn't do any of them. Maybe all the people with problems did the registry hacks.

I thought I was the only one. I mean the incresse in battery life is really significant. I estimate my battery last more than twice as long as before. It showed 80% at 12am and a whole day of moderate use. Before it might have shown 20-30% remaining. I was begginning to think that the new rom is causing false battery readings.

Me too. My battery used to be drained by 1am. Now it's at like 70% at 3am. HUGE difference.

Anyone see if they incorporated the battery registry hacks in this ROM? I would look, but already ran my settings cab which includes the battery registry hacks.

Something MUST have been added to the new ROM. I have the same stuff installed that I used to, and I have my Yahoo!, Gmail, and my work e-mail recieve/send at 15 and 30 minute intervals all day. I've never had my battery life this good.
