So... the Holux M-1200 or 1000 would be the best bet?
I just want it for driving... I get lost in Denver easily sometimes... lol. |
I got the Visiontac VGPS-700 and I'm liking it so far. It is tiny and comes with a bunch of cool accessories (a usb cord that will turn the unit on when power, car adapter to usb, usb charge cord, small unit that takes 4 AAA batts for backup power). Locks to satellites fast and accuracy seems to be pretty good so far. I got the unit for $60 and I'm pretty pleased with it so far!

Well I guess I'm getting the M-1200.
Is TomTom the best navigation software? I know absolutely jack about this topic lol. |
TomTom is generally regarded as one of the best (if not the best).
There are a couple other competitors that do certain things better than TomTom but other things worse. It's the small differences that you have to decide which suites you best, but you can't really go wrong with TomTom. |
I've gotten excellent results from iGuidance, also, and I think it's a tad cheaper than TomTom. It and TomTom also talk to you, I don't believe Google Maps does. From what I always understood, TomTom is what you get for Europe, iGuidance is what you get for North America.
