No data connection

I've got a XV6800 and today I downgraded to VZW 6.0 rom and then back up to the stock MR1 rom. Followed instructions to the T and now I have no data connection. I've let customizations run and still nothing. And it won't save my username and password in the connection settings. Please help this is like my 6th one of these. I'm tired of not a having a working phone.

Why you program your phone with *228 option 1. And why did you downgrade?

If your talking about a carrier cab i've tried it twice to no avail.

I didn't use *228 1 i used *22899 to program and i downgraded to unlock the gps.
