Cannot create partnership with Snap. Vista WDMC

For some reason, I can see the phone in device manager, but sync never ask me to create a partnership, and sync doesn't see my phone. I need serious help!!!!

solved it with a soft reset if anyone else has this problem. start>accesories>clear storage. After that, windows stopped recognizing it as a USB SmartPhone and started seeing it as a HTC S511
