sync problem

I have a htc tytnII, a genuine xp and vista. I never had problems with sync but since last week my htc refused to sync with my computers. I searched and installed activesunc and windows mobile sync....nothing

today I tried the bluetooth, and it worked, but the usb cable doesn't work. I tried a new cable, without result. I changed the connection 'usb', didn't work.

problem is, my computer at work doesn't have bt, so I can't sync at work.

anyone an idea what causes the problem ?

Re: sync problem

will your phone charge via usb? you might have a bad pin in the usb plug on the bottom of your phone

Re: sync problem

im not sure if this is ur problem. but my lap top is givin me hell. i found the solution for me. it was disabling the pci to usb controller on the device manager. idk why but it solved my problem syncing totally. it kust say"this device could work faster on a usb 2.0 port". it seems the controller enables usb 2.0. so disabling it makes the data and file transfer slower. but gets rid of my sync problems with my diamond. idk i why this fixes it for me but it does. try it, and if it dont work enable the controller again. but its worth a shot.
