Angry Enabling MMS for AT&T on WM6

Does anyone know how to enable MMS on Windows Mobile 6? I do not even have the option to make an MMS account on my phone. This is NOT an AT&T phone. My phone is unlocked if anyone was curious. Thanks!

Try Dutty's 4/29/08 release over at XDA. It has everything you're looking for and more. I use it and love it so far.

I would love to try it, but there is no way to flash my phone at the moment... isn't there an easier way to add MMS to your phone?

Re: Enabling MMS for AT&T on WM6

I'm with AT&T and I'm using a 750 treo w/WM 6.0 and I have MMS... I pretty sure it has something to do with the add-on features. Becouse MMS comes with Media Max.
If you have that and it doesn' work on the phone you may have to flash it with an AT&T rom to enable that feture.

I hope that helps.

Re: Enabling MMS for AT&T on WM6

You will have to locate the MMS cab so you can install the feature for the cingular MMS, the cab will contain the software and links required for the software to work properly.

Re: Enabling MMS for AT&T on WM6

You can try this (taken from the HyperDragon ROM thread at XDA):

MMS & Connection Settings for Cingular/AT&T
Extract cingnet_settings.zip and proceed the following steps:
Install ArcsoftMMS 5_0_31_16
Install cingular_ppc_cert.cab
Install cing_mms_setting.cab
Install cing_connection_settings.cab
Install PT_Extra_RIL_Setting_13Mar08.cab
Reboot device using Soft Reset shortcut located in Programs\Util folder.

PS: You will need an account at XDA to download the first file since its an attachment to a post there.
