Suddenly unable to sync.

Hopefully someone can figure this out..

Woke up this morning and my phone won't connect via USB.. When I plug it in the charge light comes on, but nothing happens on the PC. Vista shows Windows Mobile Remote Adapter in device manager when it's connected.

I reinstalled Mobile Center, hard reset my phone, uninstalled all the USB ports on the PC, still nothing.
Won't connect to second PC either.

I put the computer to sleep last night before bed while the phone was connected via USB and it sat that way until I got up again. Problem started after this, but I don't understand how it could break my USB...????

Re: Suddenly unable to sync.

Had the same problem on my Titan awhile back. My problem that was somehow a pin inside the usb port on my phone broke off. There was supposed to be 5 gold pins and when I counted there were only 4... Anyway Alltel had to send me another phone to replace the phone. Thankfully it was still under warranty. I searched all over the place and never found a problem related to the computer. It was all the phone. I think one guy did have bad USB drivers, but if you reloaded your drivers just as I did, I think you will find the problem to be with the pins in the phone.

Hope that is not the case and you find a solution...
