Re-load questions?

Hmm .. where to start?
I am not a newbie per se .. however, my sister has a keiser and I have a Titan (sprint).
She has pulled her sim card out of a T-Mobile phone and put it into this device. It works and all - no data though.
Currently running ROM 1.57.502.2 w/ 1.27.12.11 radio.

I am very familar with the Titan; however, I am not sure what is and what is not possible on the Keiser (Tilt from AT&T) PPC.
When going to the phone and typing the ## commands .. none work.

So basically, any and all assistance would be appreciated. I don't want to mess up the phone - especially since it isn't even on the original carrier.
