procomm or some other program

Hey all,
My first post here...and I need some help..

I have an ATT tilt (HTC Kaiser) and I am using t-mobile as my provieder. yes its unlocked.

I have the internet, GPS everything works great, even streaming audio from XM.

What I need to do is use a term emualtor, like hypter term or pro comm plus (this is what we use at the office) to dail out to a a remote site and connect with my modem.

I have tried cambridge software and it appears to be calling / dailing the site however it will not connect. I believe its a configuration setting with Windows mobile 6.

Has anybody tired any other software and got a good connection.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Re: procomm or some other program

I've tried various emulators and of those I've worked with Cambridge's vxHpc seemed to work best for me. That said, and the only issue I had, and still have with most emulators, keyboard mapping is non-existant. I needed full F key access with the ability to map and it's just not there. In the past with vxHpc you could open up an additional window to access the f keys but it was a pain when trying to get any work done.

ok, cool

I am going to need help in configuring most likely the Tilt to get vxHPC to work. Like I said or maybe not, I hit connect and it has the number and appears to be dialing but it does not connect. What / how / where on the Tilt do I configure or what must I do. I am totally lost

I have the cell phone (Tilt) in front of me and I put in my local phone number and hit connect and my local phone number never rings, so I think its a config on the tilt...any ideas
