Clear Storage/Hard Reset Question

Yes, I searched forum's and google'd, but when you hard reset, what is the difference between using the factory default and custom configuration option?

Re: Clear Storage/Hard Reset Question

Yep, they appear identical to me as well. I was really hoping that "factory reset" would be a plain vanilla HTC version without all the Verizon crapware, but no, all the unwanted stuff came back with each reset.

Re: Clear Storage/Hard Reset Question

Not quite sure but maybe you can set a custom configuration like the system restore points that you use for a computer??? This way you would be able to restore your phone from a certain point if you have hard to find apps.
