ok im new with winmo phone i used to own a blackberry,i had an messenger application that let me see people pics or send or receive pics by messenger just like a pc..so is there any possible way to have a live messenger like that on my htc imagio???? thanx

Do you mean Windows Live messenger?

If that's what you want, you can download and install it for free using windows mobile marketplace application.

Download Palringo. BEST IM program i've found for the Imagio. Incorporates MSN, Google, AIM, Yahoo, ICQ.... and on and on

I agree, Palringo is the best messenger for Windows Mobile that I have found also. It is small in programs size, runs in the background persistently and lets you know when you receive a message.

I had been using NimBuzz... not bad, but on finding this thread I tried Palringo... I'm a convert! Thanks

Just for giggles I'm asking. I tried Nimbuzz and it seemed pretty unstable. Which was disappointing because it also seemed like it had alot of potential. Did it work well for you?

Yea, it worked OK... I do like Palringo a little better, not really sure I can give you a solid "Why". However, the one REAL annoyance so far with Palringo is that it never really exits when you hit the X in task manager, you actually have to soft reset to get it to really go away. That does suck, but otherwise, it's good. I'm forgetting already what it was about nimbuzz I wasn't so wild about. Maybe I'll have to go back and try that one again.

Now, thanks to this danged forum, I'm trying Swype :) too many apps, too little time.
