Addicting Games on Windows Mobile
Hi. First thanks for ya time and consideration. :)
I do flash design. So I was wondering if there was I way to display flash games on my imagio. I heard about flash 10 coming in 2010 for mobile phones, but I don't know what the story is on flash as of right now. I went to Adobe on my phone and downloaded a flash file called: install_flash_player Then I went to addicting games (site full-a-flash games). The side web banners came up but the game didn't. So I have 2 questions: Is it that flash is working but the games are too big for the mobile web browser? or is the flash not really working? Is there a way to get a flash game working in swf form from the storage card? (like you would if it was on your computer? TIA!! ^_^ |
Re: Addicting Games on Windows Mobile
Flash is not supported in the browsers. Android is supposed to get flash support in Q1 2010, I had not heard that WinMob was getting flash. I only know what I read on the forums, so maybe I have missed something.

Re: Addicting Games on Windows Mobile
Flash has not been OFFICIALLY supported. There was an announcement that Flash 10 is getting released for Android and WinMO sometime early 2010. There are may ways to get it unofficially though they don't all work well.

Re: Addicting Games on Windows Mobile
Adobe did release a stripped down version of Flash Player 7 that does support some flash. I haven't installed on this phone, but when I did on my i760 it was just too slow to do anything meaningful.

Hmmm... I guess I am confused?
Flash plays in Internet Explorer 6 on WM 6.5 which is what Imagio is running. Perhaps it is not FULL Flash but IE has Flash support: http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/...-mobile-6.aspx |
