Best resolution size and conversion application for pictures
 

I am converting many of my pictures to put on albums on my storage card. So far I have been resizing the pictures to 800 x 600 but they do not fill the screen. If I could find an app that resizes to 800 x 480, would the pictures fill the screen? Does anyone know of a (free) app that can do this in batch?

Here is a 800x480 Photoshop action for ya. Just batch them through Bridge.
