Sending blank texts
 

My imagio is sending one of my friends blank texts, on his front small screen it shows as boxes but when he opens the message its blank. Everything looks correct on my phone and it seems to be completely random.

Very very frustrating..

Are you sending blanks or is he just receiving them blank? In other words, do others get your texts OK?

So far i have not had anyone complain about not getting my texts ok but i actually found out what the problem was. Im not sure if this is his phone / other phones / all phones or what.

I cannot reply to a text message and put a comma followed by a space anywhere in the text. Doing this makes it show up on his phone as [][][][] boxes lol. He is using an ENV3

I am using SPB keyboard and havent uninstalled it to see if thats it.

Try switching the input keyboard. I bet Spb keyboard is the issue.

Got rid of SPB and that did indeed fix the problem, no way im going to type on this phone without SPB so hopefully a reinstall will fix the problem.. if not.. no commas. big Whoops. I just hope this helps other people.. im completely surprised i figured it out.


EDIT: Not a problem with SPB.. actually a problem with the skin i had installed. The stock SPB skin where the comma is right above your left thumb sends messages correctly, all the black skins listed on SPBs website have the comma somewhere else and dont work correctly on my friends phone.
