Ugh....so irritated with it lately. Not staying locked in my pocket, answering phone calls and making unwanted phone calls. I wish I had the tekky skillz to remaster this thing.....

try a hard reboot or what I do when I put it in my pocket is have the screen facing out away from leg or chest

For my VZW htc imagio when the screen turns off it auto locks.. it should for yours as well. If you forget to lock it manually via right soft key on home screen... or 3 second long hold (end) button and hit "lock device".. Then go into settings/all settings/system/power/advanced and make sure "Turn off backlight if device not used for" is checked as well as "turn off device if not used for 1min" change the backlight turn off to 10seconds so in that small amount of time which it might be in your pocket unlocked the backlight will turn off shortly and auto lock the device.

Otherwise right soft key at home screen or long press end key/lock device.

For some reason autolock does not work on my Imagio either. I double-checked the screen settings and made sure backlight turns off in 10 secs and device turns off in 1 minute. It used to autolock whenever the backlight turned off but this is not the case anymore. Has anyone encountered/solved this problem before?

I had the problem too and noticed that after uninstalling Spb Mobile Shell that the autolock worked again.

Might I suggest taking it back and getting an LG Chocolate Touch....Maybe it's too advanced?

This is the best HTC phone I've had yet. I can't wait for hard HSPL.

I wish it was that simple. The damn phone interface is so frustrating at times. S2U2 does lock the screen every time and the bluetooth still won't hang up calls consistently. I am think of taking it to the hockey rink and using it as a puck.

Furthermore, I probably won't hard reset the phone until a new rom comes out. I doubt hard reseting will remedy the phones problems.
